So Sonic RPG is now officially "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood". No joke!
It looks like it might be really good. Probably standard, fun RPG fare along the lines of Chrono Trigger or Golden Sun. Bioware ... as you may recall ... is making it ... for the DS ... and they appear to be taking it pretty much exactly where I expected (but not hoped) in terms of gameplay. On the positive side, this watercolor-like feel to the visuals is very pleasing, but I'm very disappointed to see that it applies only to backgrounds and not to HUDs, menus, or character art or models.
