Like, a dragon.

I've begun playing Ryu ga Gotoko 2, aka Yakuza 2, for the past two days and very much enjoying it. I think I'll be upset if the third game doesn't make it to North America.

The story is your typical mafia genre yarn, but there really isn't anything wrong with that; it's just plain fun. That fun is reflected in the combat, which is that wonderful blend of easy-to-use but difficult to master. The combat is topped off with brutal specials that satisfy that masculine part of me that loved 300. Just -- so great.

So far as I've played, the game largely takes place in Osaka. This is the part of Japan that I've frequented on my occasional visits, so it's thrilling to see the area rendered with such detail and accuracy.
